Maine

Youth Alternatives Ingraham has helped the neediest of children in Maine since 1967.

From the YAI website:

Through our Children’s Advocacy Council, we advocate for child-friendly, family-focused policies and raise the awareness of and engage the community around child and family issues. Through our association with Community Partnerships for Protecting Children, we help organize neighborhoods to build communities which safe-guard children. Through our Linkage Project, we promote awareness of the link between animal cruelty and human violence. We provide family and community mediation services to help resolve conflicts.
