Imagine spending your first, or fifth or sixteenth birthday in foster care. For some kids, they are surrounded by loving foster families who will celebrate every birthday. Others, however, wait in shelters or group homes for the right placement.

You can make a huge difference by providing birthday cards for kids who otherwise might spend their “special day” waiting for a card that never arrives.

SHERRILL GRAFF is a brilliant woman and a talented craftsperson. You can read her blog, “The Late Night Stamper,” here.

Sherrill has put out a call to all scrappers, crafters and card makers: next time you sit down to make a card or scrapbook page, why not make a few extra cards and donate them to Olive Crest? As Sherrill points out in her blog…

Since 1973, Olive Crest has transformed the lives of over 50,000 abused, neglected, and at-risk children and their families.
