In North Dakota, you can donate a prom dress to make prom the perfect night for a special foster child.

From the UND Nonprofit Leadership Student Association:

Donation of formal wear, through Feb. 25, Grand Forks: The UND Nonprofit Leadership Student Association is seeking clothing donations for its third annual prom dress sale, a sale that offers area high school students affordable, gently used prom attire. The NLSA will collect dresses now until Feb. 25; the sale will be Feb. 25-26 at a location to be announced.

If you have prom attire to donate, call Heather Helgeson, director, UND Nonprofit Leadership Program at (701) 777-3741; or e-mail heather. NLP will pick up your donation, or you can deliver it to the Student Involvement Office, UND Memorial Union. Donations are tax deductible, and a tax deduction form is available upon request. Proceeds from this event benefit NLSA and a different area nonprofit organization each year. This year, it is the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
