Angelheart Children’s Shelter provides a safe, stable home for children who have been abused, abandoned or neglected. From the organization’s website:

Healing can only begin when a child feels safe. Each day in this country more than 2,300 children are confirmed as abused or neglected (Children’s Defense Fund, 2007). The statistics seem overwhelming, but with your support, Angelheart Children’s Shelter makes a difference — 22 kids at a time.

You can help make a difference. Here is Angelheart’s current wish list:
